The
Committee of the Dante Alighieri Society of Tbilisi, will have the privilege to
organize an exclusive meeting Tuesday, 19 May 2015 at 18:00 , with the participation
of students, members of “Famiglia d’Italia” (Association of the Italians in Georgia)
, press and local media.
Also the
program of the Festival provides Claudio Pozzani as protagonist on May 20 at 19:30
with his performances of poetry and meeting with the readers, together with the
presentation of the book " The March of the shadow "collection of his
poems and the Italian translation of "Anthology of Georgian modern poetry "
curated by Nunu Geladze , interpreter of Claudio Pozzani at the Festival.
Claudio
Pozzani has participated in numerous literary festivals, his poems have been
translated into more than 10 countries, since 1995 director of the Literary
Festival of Genoa as well as organizing numerous cultural events throughout the
year.
It is
defined by the Spanish master Fernando Arrabal " master of the invisible,
pusher of dreams, thief of fire, his heart is a joyful dance in the alcove.
"
In 2012 he
won the Catullo prize for the spread of poetry in Italy and the recognition of
the award of the Ministry of Heritage and Activities for the cultural festival
of Genoa as the best event of Italian poetry.
Claudio
Pozzani defines poetry as ".... spectacular, is an extraordinary medium of
communication and particularly cuts across all the arts . "
